Submission Guidelines
Please follow these standards to ensure your research is accepted for administrative review.
Review Timeline: Approval of entries may take one to two weeks.
01. File & Naming Conventions
Accepted in PDF Only. Standardized naming is mandatory for indexing:
lastname_year_abstract_and_imrad.pdf
lastname_year_plagiarism.pdf
lastname_year_ai_report.pdf
02. Abstract Requirements
- Word Count: 250–300 words strictly.
- Content: Must summarize objective, method, and key results.
- Citations: No citations or references allowed in the abstract.
- AI Recommended: Minimal AI usage (recommended under 10%).
03. Integrity & AI Usage Policy
AI Usage Policy
AI tools may be used for language refinement. AI must not generate original research content or results. Excessive use may result in integrity flagging.
Unsupported Tool Clause: NOUSIAN allows plagiarism and AI reports from other tools if the research was previously checked using a paid or institution-mandated service. These may be flagged as "Externally Verified."
Integrity Thresholds
Submissions exceeding thresholds (AI >30% or Plagiarism >15%) will be labeled as "Integrity Flagged." NOUSIAN does not reject solely based on scores.
04. Authorship & Attribution
All authors must have contributed significantly. Proper citation is required. Fabricated authorship is grounds for removal.
